For Students -- How to Prepare for the Bee
Dear Students:

Spelling can be fun! In today's competitive environment, a rich English vocabulary goes a long way to help you become a better communicator, a good writer, and a good speaker. Enriching your vocabularies is not such a hard thing if you put your mind to it and stick to the habits!

Tips for Success:

Study the words in "Spell It" 2011 edition!

Each student will receive a copy of the "Spell It" book that contains 1,200 words used in the competition. These words are grouped by word origin. This fun, cartoon-filled book illustrates to you how the word roots form the words, and the peculiar ways of phonetics, and how they sound. This is meant for you to remember some rules for how English words are formed. It helps you to make logical inferences when you encounter a new word.

Check Out the "iSpell" Online Program by Qooco!
